Nova Schola Tanauan (NST) proudly marked its 12th Foundation Anniversary with a four-day celebration from September 10 to 13, 2025, uniting the entire school community in a series of fun, meaningful, and memorable events. With its vibrant K-Pop themed celebration, the campus came alive with colorful booths, dynamic competitions, and creative showcases that highlighted the talent, passion, and unity of NST students.
Day 1: A Blessed and Vibrant Start
The festivities opened with a Thanksgiving Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Nemer D. Chua, setting a prayerful and grateful tone for the celebration. Following the mass, the Opening Program featured lively performances from students across all levels—from preschool to college.
The highlight of the day was the much-awaited Best of the Best Dance Competition, where Junior High, Senior High, and College groups battled it out in energetic, creative performances that thrilled the crowd. This day also featured the Culinary Express – Junior High Finals, where young chefs tried to impress the judges with their skills in the kitchen. The day concluded with the Mr. and Ms. NST Costume Competition, which wowed the audience as candidates donned and presented stunning traditional Korean attire.
Day 2: Talents Take the Spotlight
Day 2 began with the Mr. and Ms. NST Talent Portion, where candidates showcased a diverse range of performances, from singing, acting, and dancing to poetry and even live spray painting. Meanwhile, the NST Luminaries hosted a Hi-5-inspired activity for preschoolers, bringing learning in a way that was both fun and engaging.
The Culinary Express – SHS and College categories continued the excitement, with participants serving dishes that were as flavorful as they were creative, highlighting both skill and dedication in the kitchen. As the day ended, the stage came alive with The Ultimate Jam: Battle of the Bands. Student-formed bands rocked the crowd with performances across genres, leaving the audience in awe and high spirits.
Day 3: A Day of Fun and Discovery
The third day was filled with opportunities for students to explore a wide variety of booths offering food, drinks, games, and crafts. At the same time, an exhibit organized by Project Peace of Mind (PPOM) and The Fortress showcased Korean traditions and culture through interactive displays, trivia, and food presentations.
The Preschool Family Day also brought smiles as parents and children bonded through fun games and activities. In the afternoon, talented singers took center stage in the Voice of NST, a singing competition, with Junior High, Senior High, and College representatives delivering heartfelt and powerful performances.
Day 4: Crowning Moments and Closing Cheers
The final day opened with JHS Family Day, where students and parents enjoyed a day of camaraderie through activities and shared meals.
In the evening, excitement filled the venue for the Mr. and Ms. Nova Schola 2025 Coronation Night. Candidates graced the stage in formal wear, received special awards, and answered challenging questions with confidence. The night reached its peak as Jan Chrysander Alano and Kate Angeline Valencia were crowned Mr. and Ms. Nova Schola 2025, earning thunderous applause from the crowd. The celebration concluded with a lively Night Party, where students danced to upbeat DJ mixes—closing the four-day event with joy, music, and unforgettable memories.

NST’s 12th Foundation Anniversary was more than just a commemoration; it was a celebration of faith, culture, talent, and community. From solemn beginnings to exhilarating competitions and heartwarming family moments, the event reflected NST’s growth and unwavering school spirit.
