Nova Schola Tanauan’s preschool department reached a special milestone this year as it celebrated its very first Foundation Day, a week that not only showcased the talents of the little ones but also strengthened the sense of family and community within the school. The celebration was filled with music, laughter, and memorable experiences that highlighted what NST stands for: fun, learning, and togetherness.
Day 1: A Bright Opening Performance
The week began with the grand opening of the Foundation Day celebration. Our preschoolers proudly joined the festivities with an opening dance number to the upbeat tune of Soda Pop. Their cheerful performance brought smiles to everyone in the audience and set the perfect tone for the week ahead. It was a heartwarming sight to see our youngest students, full of confidence and joy, shining on stage as they marked the beginning of NST’s Foundation Week.

Day 2: Hi-5 Inspired Activity with the Luminaries
The second day of the celebration was both lively and educational. The NST club, Luminaries, hosted a Hi-5-inspired activity day specially prepared for the preschool students. With colorful costumes, catchy songs, and interactive dances, the Luminaries brought learning to life in a way that was both fun and engaging.
The children clapped, sang, and danced along, showing not only their enthusiasm but also their eagerness to learn through music and movement. This activity demonstrated NST’s commitment to making learning enjoyable, even outside the classroom setting, and gave our preschoolers the chance to experience an exciting, age-appropriate performance designed just for them.

Day 3: A Memorable Preschool Family Day
Perhaps the most anticipated part of the week was the Preschool Family Day. This event gave parents the opportunity to join their children in a series of fun and lighthearted parlor games. Families competed in classics like the sack race, saluhan ng itlog, and the ever-popular Hep Hep Hooray. The laughter that filled the air proved that the adults were enjoying themselves just as much, if not more, than the children!
Beyond the games, Family Day became a chance for parents, teachers, and students to bond and build lasting memories together. The event closed with a festive meal where each family contributed food to share, turning the gathering into a joyful community feast. This moment of togetherness truly reflected the NST spirit of unity and generosity.
